Pi Network Starts Second Migrations, Including Referral Bonuses

Hey fellow miners, good news! Pi Network has started rolling out "second migrations" since Pi Day 2026. What this means for us is that if you've already moved some Pi to Mainnet, you might now be able to migrate even more of your earned balance. This is a big step because it includes those valuable referral mining bonuses, which is honestly something many of us have been waiting for.

Here's the thing about those referral bonuses: they'll only migrate if your Referral Team members have fully passed KYC. So, for everyday Pi miners, it's a good time to gently remind your team to get their KYC done so everyone can benefit. Over 119,000 Pioneers have already completed these second migrations, showing the process is well underway.

Don't worry if you're still waiting on your first migration; the team made sure that second migrations don't slow down or compromise the speed of initial migrations. First migrations still take priority, which is fair. Before any of this happens, though, remember you need to complete Pi Wallet two-factor authentication (2FA) through Step 3 of your Mainnet Checklist for security.

Honestly, this whole process of calculating and migrating referral bonuses was super complex technically, involving individual mining sessions and KYC statuses.
