Duplicate Account Determination: 417,000 Pioneers Can Now Continue KYC Process The official team explained that a batch of accounts had previously been flagged and stuck due to suspected duplication. After further evaluation confirmed they were not duplicate accounts, over 417,000 Pioneers can now proceed with the KYC process. The official team specifically reminded that this adjustment does not replace other KYC requirements and checks, and affected Pioneers must still complete the remaining necessary verification steps. The official team also took this opportunity to explain why KYC/migration holds are generally resolved in "batches" rather than continuously: different groups are stuck for different reasons. To distinguish real users from malicious or non-compliant accounts, certain specific situations require additional analysis and customized technical solutions. Only after the development, testing, and deployment of these solutions are complete will the affected batch of Pioneers be unstuck all at once. Fast-Track Wallet Migration Issue: 497,000 Users Expected to Be Unstuck Next Week Another affected group consists of Pioneers who obtained their Mainnet wallets through the Fast-Track process and used these wallets as their migration destination. The official team explained that these wallets were not created through the standard KYC and migration process, which resulted in these users' wallet balances being insufficient to cover the gas fee required for migration, thus preventing them from completing the claim. The official team stated that an update will be deployed within the next week to unstuck approximately 497,000 Pioneers affected by this issue, and to prevent similar situations in the future by reconciling the discrepancies between the two KYC paths (standard process and Fast-Track). Other KYC and Migration Process Improvements The official team also listed several technical adjustments that have been deployed: Reduced Technical Errors: Optimized how the KYC App's video processing and other automated processes utilize system resources, improving errors and process stagnation that might occur under high load. Yoti Users Can Resubmit: Users who previously underwent KYC via Yoti but were stuck due to missing necessary liveness check data can now resubmit to complete their information. Expanded Device Compatibility for Liveness Checks: Adjusted the logic for liveness checks and facial angle capture, allowing Pioneers who previously couldn't complete the check due to older or lower-spec devices to now pass. Palm Print Recognition Trial: For some Pioneers requiring multiple liveness checks, a one-month palm print capture trial is being progressively rolled out as an alternative identity verification aid that doesn't require showing one's face. Indonesian KIA Document Users Can Resubmit: Indonesian users previously rejected for submitting KIA documents no longer applicable for KYC can now resubmit using other supported documents.
